Here we go with our latest release. This time we wish to present a magnificent EP by Martijn - a British DJ and producer from Durham who hit the House & Techno scene with his first release appearing on Kinky Vinyl in the form of "The Red Light EP" in 2007 which instantly earned him the respect of DJs both national and international. Since then, Martijn has releases signed to Subway Soul (Seed Recordings New York) and also the "Dusty Days EP" on "Just Deep Music" imprint. Martijn's musical tastes encompass Deep, Tech, Minimal House and Techno taking influences from DJs/producers such as Matthias Tanzmann, Luciano, Alex Celler, Nima Gorji and many others all put together to form a groove riddled fun sound. With "Summer Starter EP", we get twosplendid productions: "Woo" and "Suns Up" that are certainly something to keep your eye on. You can check them out on Beatport.

 ///   2010.08.09.

After the debut release of "Bubbler" by Maya Jane Coles, which got a lot of positive feedback from such artists as John Digweed, Roger Sanchez, Loko or Mousse T, just to name a few, our sublabel Loco Records Supreme introduces the second release from NoamRyder aka Jonjo Williams and Jonny Cade. Their EP is called "Stool Pigeon EP" and contains three amazing recordings: "African Dreams", "Stool Pigeon" and "Get Board". It's already available on Beatport.

 ///   2010.07.26.

Here we go with the eighth edition of our sampler series entitled "A Four Track Sampler". Among the artists included in this EP, we can distinguish Qmusse, LondonGround, Deep Active Sound and Dima Promo. The release is currently available on Beatport.

 ///   2010.07.24.

With the year halfway over, we thought it was time to let you all know of the fact that "Singing In The Bathtub" by Evren Ulusoy & Sezer Uysal from the sixth edition of our "A Four Track Sampler" series has been classified in the forty-third place of the year's top 100 downloads on Beatport. It's worth mentioning that every track from the chart has been tested and proven by some of the world's best DJs. Well-done!

 ///   2010.07.21.

Great news! Evren Ulusoy & Sezer Uysal's "Singing In The Bathtub Remixes" is at 13th of best-selling singles in Traxsource charts.

 ///   2010.07.19.

We'd like to let you know that the first ever release from Loco Records' sublabel called Loco Records Supreme is out now. The artist we'd like to introduce on this very release is Maya Jane Coles - a 22-year-old British-Japanese female producer, who has already appeared on Loco Records presenting her successful single "Pace Yourself". Her "Bubbler" EP is composed of three recordings: "Bubbler", "Nowhere" and a remix to "Nowhere" by Jackspeare aka Karol XVII & MB Valence, which will undoubtedly make a grand opening for Loco Records Supreme.

 ///   2010.07.13.

We wish to let you know today is the official release date for Evren Ulusoy & Sezer Uysal's "Singing In The Bathtub Remixes". Finally, the two remixes from Soul Minority & Alex Douche are available in most stores worldwide.

 ///   2010.07.05.

We'd like to inform you that "The Song" by Karol XVII & MB Valence has just come out and is now available on Beatport. This very release will determine a set of characteristics that can be applied to both the artists. Not only will you experience deep emotions, but also extraordinary aesthetics in this very piece of music. All the sensations will be given to you through two versions of the title track. The original version comes directly from the duo Karol XVII & MB Valence, whereas the second mix has been delivered by Jean Frank Cochois aka The Timewriter as a fantastic complement to this great release. Jean, who is considered as one of the top producers within the international house scene, has been releasing 12 inches and 8 artist albums on such renowned labels as Plastic City, Mole Listening Pearls, Elektrolux and American labels such as Wave Music, Fiji, as well as on Driftwood or Tonika. This time, as The Timewriter, he came up with a mystic vision of "The Song", which may be so well-received as his former tunes.

Good job, guys (again)!, ECHOFUSION: Firstly I would like to congratulate you guys on this amazing EP. Amazing response from the crowds. I love the way how the tech house and deep house elements have been combined to give a nice laid back yet upfront sound. Quality Deep House ! Love it! All tracks have their own character. My favorite is Common Space! Full support as usual from me guys! Keep it up!, STEVIE MIDDLETON /SOLE MUSIC/: I love it., DEAN SERAFINI /JJAZPROJECT MAGAZINE/: Just when I thought these guys couldn't get any better they appear with another three excellent tracks. The first is "Organised Notes!" Which starts off deep and dubby before some amazing organs take the roof off. "Common Space" is much more minimal in its construction with crisp beats, rumbling bass and a simple but hypnotic groove. The final offering is another slice of deepness that starts off with a compelling groove and adds moody synths and breathy vocals to good effect. All three tracks are enjoyable but "Organised Space" is something else.

Here comes the second part of the "A FOUR TRACK SAMPLER" series from Loco Records contains unreleased tracks by such artists as YOFUNK, a Swedish duo ALEX CAYTAS & ALEKS PATZ, an Italian duo LORENZO BARTOLETTI & MATTEO MATTEINI, and SURREALISM. The first to appear on the sampler is a young producer from Bulgaria nicknamed Yofunk. Yordan Petrov, as this is the artist's real name, got inspired by modern deep house music and took and interesting and experimental path of creating a sound of his own whose results can be heard in "Restart". Another production is from the Swedish cousin duo Alex Caytas & Aleks Patz. Born and raised in Stockholm, they found their passion for house, techno and everything in between and started producing their own interpretation of modern electronic dance music with influences from the past. The duo's contribution to the summer will be released on the sampler containing one of their excellent productions entitled "Eve Nin". The third track in the sampler is "Portamento" from the Italian duo Lorenzo Bartoletti and Matteo Matteini. The artists, who deal with DJing as well as producing music on their own, have decided to join forces once more after their successful release "Hold On Tight", and put out a great deep production on Loco Records. The final recording belongs to Surrealism - a Bulgarian project composed of a DJ named Kalin Todorov and a young producer Nick Nikolov. The artists, who aim at producing intelligent deep tech-house and techno, managed to create a fantastic track called "The Smuggler". This entire release you can get on beatport

This track will get great support from me.., DEAN SERAFINI (JJAZPROJECT): Having been out of the country on holiday, this one didn't get my full attention until a few days ago. It's fair to say that I'm always interested in anything that's got Robert Owens on vocals and this only serves to re-emphasise why he is so respected within the scene. The lyrics are quite interesting and I'm sure there must be a story behind them although I'll leave the speculation to others. As far as the production goes, all four remixes are on point and it's difficult to pick out a clear favourite. All are about as deep as it gets and I wouldn't want to be unfair to anyone involved by picking out any of them ahead of the others. For the record, in addition to the "Original" there are further mixes from Milton Jackson, Jackspeare and Nivek Tsoy. In the case of the latter, reversing the name will reveal their true identity. Play frequently and loud!
